Safeguards before patient work begins

A public website inquiry is for practice contact information only. The signed scope and Business Associate Agreement, authorized access, and secure communication come before any patient information.

We do not claim to be “HIPAA certified.” We define the work and safeguards in writing and verify them before live access.

How access is controlled

Practical gates and checks

01

A BAA before patient information

Sales inquiries contain business details only. No PHI is handled until the applicable agreement, BAA, access approvals, and secure channels are in place.

02

Authorized, limited access

The practice identifies the EHR, authorized sources, provider roles, and permitted workflow. Named, least-privilege access is used; shared provider accounts and MFA bypass are not accepted.

03

Approved technology

Any AI or automated feature that could process PHI requires written approval for that exact product, account, feature, purpose, access method, retention, vendor permission, and applicable downstream agreements.

04

Verified work and exceptions

Administrative results are checked against the authorized source and saved chart. Duplicate, conflicting, or incomplete requests pause for review; the provider receives the unresolved question.

Optional RN services

Nursing work follows the practice's protocols

Before RN work starts, the statement of work names the service start date, approved call channel, patient population, escalation contact and protocol, and exclusions. A licensed RN documents requests and routes clinical findings or questions to the provider. Lab calls convey provider-reviewed results and exact instructions; the RN does not independently interpret them.

Professional authority

Provider decisions stay with the practice

Your licensed provider retains diagnosis, treatment, prescribing, orders, medical-necessity, coding selection, approval, and signature decisions. Administrative staff enter only exact provider-supplied or approved information. An RN working within an authorized nursing scope documents findings, follows approved protocols, and escalates clinical questions to the provider. Claim submission, payer eligibility checks, payment posting, denial follow-up, and independent coding review are not part of the chart-support offer.

This service is not emergency coverage or continuous monitoring. No on-call coverage is included.
